Slacker Radio is a digital music service that allows users to stream over thirteen million songs to any mobile device.
The company asked us to collaborate with their PR company, Atomic PR, in order to create a unique, media-focused event for the relaunch of their highly popular streaming-music service.
The Slacker Launch party combined a traditional press conference with a live musical performance, incorporating live demos, interactive touch-screen kiosks, and fully immersive visuals. Two huge audio reactive Slacker logos were projected on the wall, creating an interactive and unforgettable event experience.
The event concluded with a special private concert performed by the Silversun Pickups.
The relaunch generated significant media buzz for Slacker, including over 450 major articles, and attendee articles by the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, and TIME.
